Welcome to Sugar Mill Bakery! My name is Devin Blaney and I am the owner and head baker here. If you're like me, you love a good treat no matter the occasion. That's why I created Sugar Mill, to share my love of baking and all things sweet with those around me!
For as long as I can remember, I have been the baker in the family. It was always my job to make everyone's birthday cake or party favors. I finally decided to turn it into a career and received my baking and pastry degree from the Art Institute of Sacramento. From there, I went on to work in a number of bakeries until finally settling on opening my own business here in the Sierra Foothills where I grew up.
Here at Sugar Mill, my main goal is to provide my customers with exceptional baked goods and custom treats that will turn any celebration, no matter how big or small, into a sweet one.
